Hello, my name is Robert DeSimone and my site is called Nuirrel, because I like Squirrels and their crafty little personalities. They remind me of myself as a DIY enthusiast and career IT guy, always wearing many different hats and being startup scrappy. I long for a simple life surrounded by nature and free of stress.

I specialize in helping solo’s and small businesses get up and running in the digital age. I’ll help you create a well rounded digital homebase, that is both stylistic and easy to maintain while building your brand. My goal is to make professional web design accessible, ensuring your image is polished without requiring you to be a tech-head like me.

I was there before it all began.

With over 40 years of professional experience in IT computer services, I was around before the Internet started, building and fixing the first Apple II’s in the late 1970s and then IBM PC’s when the rock group Journey was making hits like “Don’t Stop Believin” on the radio in 1981. When the Internet was born in the early 1990s, I added web design to my service list learning the first versions of HTML and publishing websites for local businesses in my home town of Los Alamitos, California.

So much has changed over the years and now web design has reached the masses with platforms like Squarespace, Wix, and WordPress, where any digital nomad can pop up a pretty good site within hours to a few days.

DIY or Hire Me?

I picked Squarespace for my personal platform to build websites because it natively does what I need and is easy for clients to maintain without having to learn HTML, CSS, or PHP, which is often the case with other popular platforms like WordPress. If don’t want to touch the controls, that’s fine, I will be happy to do it for you, just reach out.
